🔹 EFAS Congress 2025
Dates: 10–11 October 2025

The EFAS Congress will bring together leading foot and ankle surgeons from across Europe for a high-level scientific and networking event. We invite you to encourage your members to attend and engage with the EFAS community.

Date: 10 October 2025 at 17:00 local time
All EFAS members are invited to attend. Only EFAS European Full members are allowed to vote. Your participation is key to shaping the future of EFAS and strengthening collaboration between our societies. A newsletter will follow the next weeks.
🔹 EFAS Certification Exam
Date: 9 October 2025 (the day before the EFAS Congress)
Application Deadline: 1 September 2025
Fee: €850 (includes entrance to the EFAS Congress)
The EFAS Certification Exam is designed to promote the highest standards of practice in our field and to support surgeons in demonstrating specialist-level knowledge and skills. By completing this process, candidates affirm their commitment to excellence and contribute to improving patient care across Europe and beyond. This is an opportunity to validate one’s expertise and be recognised among leading foot and ankle surgeons.

Binnen ons tertiair universitair opleidingscentrum worden alle facetten van voet- en enkelpathologie behandeld, met bijzondere expertise in de meest complexe gevallen. Onze hoofdactiviteiten richten zich op:
Complexe botdeformiteiten van voet, enkel en tibia
Enkel- en achtervoetreconstructies en totale enkelprothesiologie
Arthroscopische en minimaal invasieve chirurgie van de voet en enkel
Behandeling van Pilon-, Calcaneus-, Lisfranc- en overige voet- en enkel fracturen
Pseudoarthrose en non-union repair tibia, inclusief bottransport
Infecties in de tibia- en voet/enkelregio
Reconstructies van diabetes voet (met inbegrip van Charcot arthropathie) en voet/enkel bij neuro-musculaire aandoeningen
Opvang en behandeling van het majeur trauma inclusief het complex monotrauma
Ons zorgprogramma is tevens sterk academisch georiënteerd en werkt nauw samen met het IORT (Institute for Orthopaedic Research and Training, KU Leuven) en het TRAIL (Trauma Research And Innovation Center Leuven, KU Leuven).
